A couple of lines of context help more than anything else: who you are, what you are working with, and what you would like to happen next.

Two things worth knowing

Where your message goes, and what is already here.

A person reads it

Messages reach the people who maintain the standard and write these pages, and they are answered by one of them rather than by a queue. If what you sent belongs with somebody else here, it is passed on with your context attached, so you are not asked to explain yourself twice.

Some answers are already public

If you came to find out how a number is arrived at, how the index is computed sets out the arithmetic, every rubric version is published in full, and the reference scorer reproduces a score on your own machine. That route is open at any hour and needs nobody's permission.
