What this system is
This system is a .NET-style command and notification handling library that manages the execution of commands and the dispatch of asynchronous or parallel notifications. It provides configurable strategies for concurrent processing and robust error aggregation, supported by a modernized build and publishing infrastructure.
Features
Add support for asynchronous and parallel notification handling
The library now supports sending notifications, allowing multiple handlers to be executed concurrently or sequentially depending on the chosen strategy. Users can configure how notifications are processed via new strategies: \Async\ (runs handlers asynchronously and waits for completion), \ParallelNoWait\ (fire-and-forget), \ParallelWhenAll\ (waits for all to complete), \ParallelWhenAny\ (returns when the first completes), and \ContinueOnException\ (continues on errors). Exceptions from handlers are aggregated into an \AggregateException\. This enables more flexible and performant handling of background events compared to the previous synchronous, sequential-only model.

Behavioural changes
Migrated build infrastructure from Travis CI to GitHub Actions
The project has replaced its Travis CI configuration (.travis.yml) with a GitHub Actions workflow (.github/workflows/build.yml), updating the build status badge and removing the legacy Rultor automation script (.rultor.yml). Additionally, the Gradle wrapper scripts (gradlew, gradlew.bat) have been updated to the latest version, and the .gitignore file now excludes .asc and .key files.

Upgrade Gradle wrapper to version 7.6
The Gradle wrapper has been upgraded from version 5.2.1 to 7.6, which may change build behavior and compatibility. A network timeout of 10000ms has also been configured for the wrapper.

Test coverage
Added test coverage for core pipeline components
Added new test classes for AggregateException, CommandHandling, Command, Generic, Notifications, and Preconditions, and updated PipelinrTest and VoidyTest. Removed obsolete tests for CommandHandler and RoutingPipeline. The new tests verify that the pipeline correctly handles generic command types, executes middleware in order, supports async and parallel notification strategies, and resolves parameterized types.

Dependencies
Migrate publishing infrastructure from Bintray to Maven Central
The project's build configuration has been updated to publish artifacts to Maven Central instead of Bintray. This involves replacing the Bintray plugin with the maven-central-publishing plugin, updating repository sources from jcenter to Maven Central, and adding required POM metadata (name, description, licenses, developers, SCM) for Maven Central compliance. Additionally, the build now uses java-library plugin, applies Spotless for code formatting, and configures PGP signing for publications.

How this codebase got here
This is the PUBLIC form of this artifact. Findings are listed in full, but the details of SECURITY findings — which rule fired, in which file, on which line, and how to fix it — are deliberately withheld, and any secret-scanner results are excluded entirely. Where detail is absent here it was REMOVED FOR PUBLICATION; it is not missing from the analysis. The complete artifact is available from the repository owner.
